Update:
Thank you all for your prayers and support — it means so much during this time. I’m still in a rehab center working hard to stand, transfer to a wheelchair, and eventually walk. Progress is slow, but with God, family, and friends, I know I’ll get through this.
Nathan is living with my parents in Arizona. Jonny and I had to leave our apartment due to mold repairs, and he’s been staying in a motel nearby for 12 nights while I remain in rehab. Someone kindly offered to sponsor a night for Jonny, and if you’re looking for a way to help, sponsoring a night would mean a lot. His meals aren’t provided here — only mine.
There’s no pressure; we know these are hard times for everyone. But if you’re able to help, we’re truly grateful.
BTW Jonny is staying at the best Western motel in Hanford. I will be in rehab at least for the next 10 days to two weeks depending on my progress so he has been renewing it every 3 to 4 days.
Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you know, this year has brought some unexpected and difficult challenges for our family. Due to a recent turn in my health, I’ve been unable to work, and Jonny has also had to miss time from his job to help care for me. On top of this, we recently discovered black mold in our kitchen, which requires several months of remediation. Unfortunately, temporary housing has been difficult to secure, especially with ADA needs and housing options that won’t force us into a long-term lease
We’re navigating multiple uncertainties — from ongoing medical treatment and physical therapy to managing essential bills and keeping up with health insurance premiums during this time of reduced income. Emergency medical transport has also taken a toll, with helicopter and ambulance trips to hospitals out of our area.
While we are holding onto hope and slowly beginning to see a light at the end of the tunnel, we know the road ahead is long. If you feel moved to help in any way — through a donation, a share, or simply by keeping us in your prayers — we would be incredibly grateful. Every bit of support helps lighten the load.
Thank you for standing with us in this season.
With love and gratitude,
