Support the Barreca Family during the loss of their parent

Eleanor Barreca is a dear friend and current Education Student at Carthage College. Ellie and her family have had a heartbreaking year.

Over this past summer, the Barreca family lost their mother, Traci. Despite the devastation, Ellie persevered in her coursework this fall, only to be hit by a car and injured early in the semester. And yet, she persisted. Unfortunately, over the Thanksgiving break, Ellie and her three siblings lost their father, who was by all accounts healthy. He passed very suddenly from cardiac arrest in Florida. As you can imagine, the family is in shock. As they grieve yet again, Ellie and her siblings find themselves working on logistics they never expected to be working on.

Those of us at Carthage who care deeply about Ellie and her family would ask to please keep them close in thoughts and prayers. We are trying to raise as much money to help this family with funereal costs, groceries, Christmas presents, meals, and other expenses during this extremely tough time.
