I've created this GoFundMe for my Brother-in-Law Bob and my sister Cathy Barnes. Bob was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer two years ago. He has fought the hard fight but is now sadly in hospice. They have now depleted their savings, and I'm hoping to help them raise at least enough to cover end-of-life expenses and ensure that my sister has a cushion moving forward, as she will lose his income.

My sister and Bob have been together for 38 years. They have two children, Marc and Melyssa, and a 5-year-old grandchild who lives next door, so he's very attached to his "Papa." This is Bob's second battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer several years ago and was considered cleared after the kidney was removed. But he later began to have new symptoms, and it was found that he had stage 4 metastatic lung cancer, which means he has cancer throughout his body. He has had chemo every week for nearly two years and recently has been in and out of the emergency room. His doctors informed him that the chemo was no longer helping and recommended hospice. The family is heartbroken, and my sister is devastated to lose the love of her life.
