Support The Barkers After House Fire & Injuries

Monday afternoon The Barkers lived a nightmare. Just months shy of bringing twin boys home, their house caught on fire due to an electrical issue. While David was in line picking up Ember from school, a fire started in the middle section of their three story home. Katie was in the top section of their home, unable to go down the fire blocked stairs - she bravely jumped from 2 stories high to save her and her twin boys lives. She is alive to tell the tale but sustained substantial injuries including broken pelvis, compressed vertebrae and severe smoke inhalation. I am happy to report the twins are currently doing well in mamas belly! In addition to Katie, Nolan (David's dad) safely made it out from the house as well! We thank God for keeping them safe and for quick reaction times that saved lives - and that Ember and David were at school safely away!

Unfortunately, three of their beloved cats did not make it. One was rushed to the emergency vet in attempts to save their life, but they did not make it. Our hearts are shattered for the loss, devastation and uncertainty of this time. With hard days ahead, I want to shower this family with as much love as we can! All they would ever ask for is prayer - but we can do that AND be a community for them!

This gofundme will help cover living costs as their house is now unlivable, food costs, vet bills from trying to save their fur babies life, medical bills for Katie's stay at the hospital, replacing clothes, baby items and other precious items lost in the fire; and anything else they need during this time.
