I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help and support for my in-laws, who lost everything in a tragic house fire.

Yesterday , May 25, 2025 we were all sitting together in the living room watching TV when our lives changed in an instant. A sudden power surge sparked a fire in the shed behind the house. Within moments, the flames had spread to the side of the home. We had less than three minutes to react.

Thanks to quick thinking and a lot of luck, we were able to get everyone out safely including the dogs, but the fire moved too fast. There was no time to grab belongings or valuables. My in-laws watched everything they had worked so hard for go up in flames.

They have lost absolutely everything: clothing, furniture, family mementos, important documents . Even worse, due to structural alterations made to the house years ago, the home was uninsurable. This means there is no financial support to help them start over.

We’re trying to raise funds to help them with the most basic necessities clothes, toiletries, food and eventually begin the long road toward rebuilding their home and their lives. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference.

Quiero pedirles ayuda para mis suegros, quienes lo perdieron todo en un incendio muy triste.

Ayer estábamos todos juntos en la sala viendo televisión cuando empezó un incendio detras de su casa. En solo unos minutos, el fuego se pasó a la casa. Apenas tuvimos tiempo de sacar a todos, incluyendo a los perritos.

Gracias a Dios todos salimos bien, pero el fuego destruyó todo. Mis suegros perdieron su casa y todas sus cosas: ropa, muebles, recuerdos, papeles importantes… todo.

Lo más triste es que la casa no tenía seguro por unos cambios que se le hicieron hace tiempo, así que no hay ayuda para empezar de nuevo.

Estamos pidiendo apoyo para ayudarles a comprar lo más necesario: ropa, comida, cosas de uso diario, y poco a poco tratar de reconstruir su casa.

Cualquier ayuda, por pequeña que sea, es muy importante. También les pedimos que compartan esta campaña con otras personas que puedan ayudar.
