Hi everybody. I never thought I’d have to make something like this, but I just don’t know what to do. While my parents were attending church on Wednesday evening, July 9th, their home was broken into and their safe was stolen, which contained all their important documents and their life savings/retirement money.

My parents worked and slaved away all their lives for this money, only for some people to take it all away. My dad is 66 and retired, and only makes about $900 a month, and my mother has been working less and less as she now has a pacemaker and suffers from chronic pain. They live in subsidized housing.

They had recently had their house vandalized in a separate incident by my brother and had needed help repairing their home, now only for this to happen to them.

My parents and I are not keen on accepting charity, but we do not know any other ways to navigate this difficult time. We humbly ask for your help in any way possible. This fundraiser will help restore some of their life savings and help pay for food, rent, and possible relocation expenses.
