Support the Ash Family After Tim's Passing
Donation protected
It is with broken hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Tim Ash, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Tim left us far too soon, and his absence is felt deeply by everyone who knew and loved him.
Tim was the kind of person who showed up—whether it was with a helping hand, a song, or simply his joyful presence. Now, our family faces the unimaginable—mourning our loss while navigating the many emotional and financial challenges that come in its wake.
Your donation will go directly toward:
- Funeral expenses
- Expenses for the family as they grieve (Rachel, Abi, and Matthew's immediate expenses. Travel expenses for Catie and Matt going between TN and IN, travel expenses for Joel and Tatiana coming from WA. Angel and Eric supporting their 3 children and commuting from IL.)
- Time away from work to grieve and heal
- Long-term needs as they rebuild their lives without Tim
Thank you for standing with our family during this time of sorrow.
With love and gratitude,
Tatiana Gilpin (fiancé of Joel Ash) on behalf of the Ash family

Timothy Michael Ash, 52, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away on July 3, 2025.
Tim was a lifelong musician, carrying on a rich family legacy of music that shaped his soul and spirit. Whether he was playing, listening, or simply sharing his love for music, it was a constant thread that ran through his life and touched the lives of those around him.
To know Tim was to know kindness. He never met a stranger—only friends he hadn’t yet gotten to know. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. His gentle heart, encouraging words, and warm sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path.
Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Rachel Ash, and their children: Angelica Emmons (husband Eric Emmons), Catie Ash (fiancé Matt Fulton), Joel Ash (fiancée Tatiana Gilpin), Matthew Ash, and Abigail Ash. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Ian Emmons, Karalyn Emmons, and Roe Emmons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Joyce Ash, and his younger brother, Joseph Ash.
Tim’s memory will live on in the music he loved, the stories he shared, and the many lives he brightened. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Service details will be shared at a later date.
