Just a few months ago, after Isaiah and Haley got married, he was ready to start his life with the military and went off to boot camp. He entered with the goal of becoming a helicopter pilot, and was accepted into Officer Training School. He soon fell ill in boot camp — experiencing severe coughing and respiratory issues, though he was determined and pushed through the pain and graduated.

But shortly after arriving at OTS, his health rapidly declined. What started as a cough quickly became something far more serious. Doctors discovered his kidneys were functioning at only 5%, and he recently started dialysis. Despite treatment, his condition is still declining. Isaiahs situation is very serious, and he now faces the likelihood of needing a kidney transplant to survive.

He is currently in the ICU and is being transferred to a specialized hospital in Atlanta for more advanced care. His wife and family have been making constant trips to be with him, missing work and facing overwhelming financial struggles.
