Today, We Lost Everything

We’re heartbroken to share that our home was completely destroyed in a fire today. Darrel and I are still in shock—never in a million years did we think something like this could happen again.

Thankfully, we’re okay, and our dogs are safe. But everything else—our home, our memories, our belongings—has been lost down to the foundation.

We’re not ones to ask for help, but this time we have no choice. Due to past fires, we were unable to secure homeowners insurance—no company would cover us. So now, we’re left with nothing and no safety net to rebuild.
