Hi, my name is Grayson Lackey and I am fundraising on behalf of The Andersons.

Zac and Autumn have been married 4 short years, have an almost 2 year old, and a baby girl on the way. On a routine anatomy scan they learned their baby girl Callaway has myelomeningocele spina bifida. Due to the severity, they made the courageous choice to have in utero surgery at Vanderbilt to repair the opening in her spine. This surgery, although life giving and hope filled, has not come without sacrifices. Autumn had to leave her job way earlier than expected, leave their home that they just moved in, and will be on strict bed rest for 11 weeks to maintain her and Callaway’s safety. The loss of income, surgery expenses, continued mortgage payments, and future medical cost have the potential to weigh a large burden on this family. It is my hope and prayer that as a community we can rally around them to eliminate this burden. The money will help to cover surgery cost, living expenses, and stem cell harvesting/banking for future medical interventions. This is only the beginning of their journey, challenges, and expenses, but they are taking each stride with faith.
