Anderson-Gourdine Family After the Loss of Brenda
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Brenda Anderson, a devoted wife, mother, and pillar of the Newark community. Brenda served as the Recycling Coordinator for the City of Newark for over 30 years, dedicating her life to making the city cleaner, safer, and more sustainable. She was preparing to retire this year, with hopes of spending more time caring for her beloved husband and daughter, who lives with cerebral palsy.
Brenda was not only the heart of her family—she was their primary caregiver, advocate, and source of strength. Her sudden loss has left the Anderson-Gourdine household in a difficult position, emotionally and financially.
We are asking for your support to help this family navigate the days ahead. Donations will go directly toward:
• Funeral Arrangements for Brenda Anderson
• Household Expenses during this time of transition
• Medical Aids and In-Home Support for Brenda’s husband and daughter
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help honor Brenda’s legacy of service and ensure her family continues to receive the care and support they need.
Thank you for standing with the Anderson-Gourdine family during this deeply challenging time.
