As most of you have heard, Ricky Whitehead-Anderson passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 from a heart attack. His devoted husband Eric was at his side from the beginning of the episode to holding his hand one last time in the hospital. Eric and Ricky have been inseparable since they met. From their first meeting on a park bench to getting married in that same park, the two formed an undeniable bond.
Ricky had an infectious personality with the ability to bring a smile to everyone’s face either with his story telling talents or a light-hearted joke. It was always great to hear his laugh, see his smile and that special twinkle he had in his eye. He will truly be missed by many.
Unfortunately, Ricky did not have life insurance or any resources to cover the unexpected expenses. We are raising funds to help cover the immediate funeral costs of $3500.00, a memorial service of $500 which is being held on April 20th, and funds to help Eric with his ongoing living expenses, food and anything else he may need during this difficult transition time.
We are certain that Ricky would thank you for your support.
