With heavy hearts, we share the news that Laura Deltorre Alvarez, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, has been called home to the Lord at the young age of 39. After a courageous battle with breast cancer, Laura passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 23rd, 2025.

Laura was a devoted wife to Ernesto Alvarez and a loving mother to their four beautiful children. She was a woman of deep faith, unwavering kindness, and endless love. Her gentle spirit touched everyone she met—whether through her warm smile, her generous heart, or her quiet strength in the face of hardship.

Laura taught her children the values of compassion, service, and trust in God’s plan. Her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the lives of all who knew her, but her light will continue to shine through her children and the countless hearts she touched.

Now, in this time of unimaginable grief, we come together as a community to support the Alvarez family. We are asking for your help—no matter how big or small—to ease the financial burden of medical and funeral expenses on Ernesto and allow him to focus on his children’s healing and wellbeing.

Con el corazón lleno de tristeza, compartimos la noticia de que Laura Deltorre Álvarez, una amada esposa, madre, hija, hermana y amiga, ha sido llamada a la Casa del Señor a la temprana edad de 39 años. Después de una valiente batalla contra el cáncer de mama, Laura falleció pacíficamente, rodeada de su familia, el 23 de octubre de 2025.

Laura fue una esposa devota para Ernesto Álvarez y una madre amorosa de sus cuatro hermosos hijos. Era una mujer de profunda fe, de bondad inquebrantable y de amor infinito. Su espíritu dulce tocó la vida de todos los que la conocieron —ya fuera por su sonrisa cálida, su corazón generoso o su silenciosa fortaleza ante las dificultades—.

Laura enseñó a sus hijos los valores de la compasión, el servicio y la confianza en el plan de Dios. Su partida deja un vacío profundo en la vida de quienes la amaron, pero su luz continuará brillando a través de sus hijos y de los innumerables corazones que tocó.

Ahora, en este momento de dolor inimaginable, nos unimos como comunidad para apoyar a la familia Álvarez.
