Justin and Sherri here. Since it appears we may actually make it to the Atlantic Ocean from Santa Monica, Sherri and I have decided to dedicate this last leg of my bike ride across America to John Edmonds, our neighbor in Flagtsaff. John, a triathlete, was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year and has been meeting the challenge so far, however, there is no cure or even a viable treatment at this time. So, our daughter Paige has helped start this Go-Fund-Me page dedicated to finding a cure for ALS.

You may know someone who has been challenged by ALS so you know how important it is to find a cure. You could do 1 penny per mile ridden (about $29 if I make it all the way), 10 cents per mile (about $290) or something in between. Every dollar goes to the foundation so please be generous. I have made a $500 donation that will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Prudential. Love you all and hope to be dipping my wheel in the Atlantic on October 14th!!
