Aleksas Beiga Memorial Scholarship,

On April 1st, 2024, while snowboarding in Switzerland, 15-year-old Aleksas Beiga lost his life in a tragic avalanche. His passing was sudden and unimaginable, and the heartbreak felt by his family, friends, and community is profound.

Aleksas was a vibrant, kind, and joyful presence. He had an adventurous spirit and a love for biking, snowboarding, singing, swimming, and spending time with the people he loved. Whether he was making people laugh, helping someone, or pushing himself to grow, Aleksas lived with energy and heart in everything he did.

To honor his memory and continue the impact he had on so many, we are establishing the Aleksas Beiga Memorial Scholarship. This fund will support students who reflect the values Aleksas lived by humor, compassion, enthusiasm, and a love for life. The scholarship will help young people pursue their passions, contribute to their communities, and carry forward Aleksas’s spirit of joy and kindness.
