Francisca Alanis was pregnant when she contracted Covid 19. She had to be hospitalized. It got worse and had to be sedated and paralyzed for treatment. She then had to be put on the ventilator. The hospital had to do a C-section to deliver her baby at seven months. She continued to fight for her life for three additional weeks, but lost her fight when her lungs filled with fluids. She has left this life way too soon.
Her husband Jorge was working two jobs and his wife was working full time to provide for their family. Now, as a single father taking care of their new born son and their other two children, he can only work one full time job.
Francisca was an inspiration to all who new her. Born a Mexican Immigrant who came to this country and learned a second language and graduated from FSU. She worked for Disability Rights of Florida. She was a true inspiration to many and she will be missed.
We are asking for your support for the Alanis Family as this is a very difficult time for them. The will need help with everything, now and in the future for the children. The family is so very thankful for anything you can send. God bless you, and Thank you.
