The Apple City Championship Wrestling (ACCW) community is heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of Darron Aitken, who passed away at just 20 years old during wrestling practice. Darron was part of a brotherhood that extends far beyond the ring — a young man chasing a dream, surrounded by teammates, coaches, and friends who shared his passion for professional wrestling.
In wrestling, we often say that this business is a family. When one of us hurts, we all hurt. Darron was someone who showed dedication, respect, and heart every time he stepped onto the mat. He loved the sport, the camaraderie, and the journey, and his loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Right now, the Aitken family is facing the unimaginable pain of losing a son, along with the unexpected financial burdens that come with such a sudden tragedy. This fundraiser has been created by members of the ACCW community to help support the Aitken family with medical expenses, funeral expenses and to give them the time and space they need to grieve without added financial stress.
We understand and acknowledge the risks that come with professional wrestling, but moments like this remind us how precious life truly is and how important it is to stand together as a community.
If you are able, please consider donating. If not, sharing this fundraiser and keeping the Aitken family in your thoughts and prayers means just as much.
From everyone in the ACCW family — thank you for helping us honor Darron’s memory and support those he loved most.
