On Tuesday, January 7th, the devastating Eaton wildfire swept through nearly all of Altadena, leaving widespread destruction in its path. Tragically, the Abel family—Steve, Jen, Nikki, and Ally—lost their home and all of their belongings to the flames. As a family of four (plus Duke, their darling yellow lab!) they now face the overwhelming task of recovering from this tragedy and rebuilding their lives.

For many years, the Abel family has been an active and supportive part of the Altadena community, always ready to help others. Today, they are the ones in need as they begin this incredibly difficult journey.

While they are currently working to secure assistance through available channels, they are in immediate need of basic resources such as clothing, food, and personal essentials. We are reaching out to ask for your help as they navigate the early stages of recovery.
