The Abd Family unexpectedly lost its loving husband and father this weekend in a tragic accident.

Despite enduring many trials and struggles early on, Tarik was a jokester, loved being silly and making people laugh. Born in Iraq, he leaned on his Christian faith to overcome many obstacles before making it to Brazil, where he worked as a missionary and met Amelia.

He was an incredibly hard worker who could fix anything and was always looking for a new project, inside or out, the bigger the better! Everything he did was for his children to have a chance at a prosperous future.
