Support the Heating repairs for the Scottish Tartans Museum

We are a non-profit organization based in Franklin, North Carolina operated by a staff of 5 volunteers. Our mission has always been to educate visitors on the history of Scottish immigration to the new world and to provide a hands-on heritage center for anyone wishing to explore their own Scottish heritage. The Museum operations are funded solely by gift shop sales, online orders, Museum memberships, and donations. We are the ONLY Scottish Tartans Museum in the U.S.

We had recently lost our air conditioning system, due to old age. That system was replaced thanks to generous donations from Go Fund Me. Now we have been told that our Heating systems is in need of repair also. So here we go again. Heating and Cooling is needed, not only for the comfort of our visitors, but importantly to the preservation of rare and vintage exhibits and artifacts. Unfortunately, commercial financing is not available to us. This fundraiser is intended to offset the cost of HVAC replacement that is currently being borne by the staff themselves.
