There are not many events in the world that can make thousands of strangers smile together on a beach. The World Dog Surfing Championships is one of them. In 2026, the World Dog Surfing Championships are returning to Pacifica — and with your help, we can make this the biggest and most exciting year yet.

Every summer, thousands gather at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, California to celebrate one of the world’s most joyful and unique sporting events. Surfing dogs, costume contests, rescue organizations, family activities, and beachside fun create an unforgettable experience for attendees of all ages. The Championships have grown into an internationally recognized event covered by media around the world, while also benefiting local businesses and tourism, rescue dog organizations, community fundraising efforts, family-friendly public entertainment, and positive exposure for Pacifica and the Bay Area.

But events like this do not happen on their own. Rising permit fees, insurance, staffing, safety requirements, beach operations, equipment, cleanup, and transportation costs continue to increase every year.

This fundraiser will help support the future of the Championships while also improving the event experience with more activities for fans and dogs, additional rescue showcases, enhanced event amenities, expanded event video coverage and media production, and long-term sustainability for future Championships.
