Greetings my name is Coach Vargas. This past month the Edison High School girls lacrosse team won their second consecutive Valley Championship. Winning one championship is a feat but winning another in consecutive years is a testament to just how hard these players work both on the field and off. To help commemorate the accomplishments of these players I am seeking donations to help offset the cost of championship rings.

When these ladies step on the field they know that they represent not just themselves but the student body, the staff of Edison high school, and the entire Edison region. We are proud to wear the black and gold and show the entire league and valley that some of the greatest student athletes attend Edison high school on the west side of Fresno. As the number 4 ranked team we were able to beat both the top seed and the number two seed to defend our championship. While this team is known for their athletic abilities and accomplishments they also excel in the classroom as student athletes. This team was lead by 7 seniors, 3 of which were valedictorians for their graduating class and all of them will be attending a 4 year university in the fall.

Your contribution well help our girls celebrate their phenomonal season and promote the pride, honor and integrity that comes with being a champion. They will continue to be academic and athletic role models for young female atheletes in the Edison region, and it will be great to know that your contribution is what helped them recieve the honor of wearing a championship ring.
