This is the fundraising platform for Aidan Berger's proposal to the 2026 Youth Sponsorship Program through LVAAS and AitC. The project is the construction of a 20-inch Remote Observatory at Pulpit Rock in Hamburg, PA. The telescope will be used as a permanent astroimaging telescope.

What your support helps fund:

Construction of a precision 20” optical telescope

Mounting, control systems, and automation for safe remote operation

Observatory infrastructure and weather protection

Software and networking to allow public and educational access

This project is about more than hardware. It’s about education, accessibility, and inspiration. It’s about giving students hands-on experience with real astronomical data, helping educators bring science to life, and rekindling the sense of awe that first made humanity look up and ask questions.

Every contribution—large or small—brings us closer to turning this vision into reality. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign still helps immensely.

Thank you for believing in curiosity, community, and the power of looking up.
