As you all know, Thayne was injured playing basketball on July 26th. It turned out that he had a prior issue with his kidney that we didn't know about. We have no pediatric specialists here in Rapid City so of course we have to travel to get him the care he needs. We have a MAG test on his kidney scheduled for August 29th in Omaha. This fundraiser is to help us with travel expenses, hotels, meals, etc. Anything you can do is greatly appreciated. I know things are tight for everybody and normally we wouldn't ask, but my job allows me the freedom to work from home or close to home, but Afton is his primary caregiver from the medical stuff so she has been unable to work for a bit to him needing constant care.
