Support Thailey Leak's Mission to Honduras
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Thailey Leak and I am a 2nd-Year Doctorate of Physical Therapy student at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, MN. I have a strong passion for helping others, especially those who have limited access to medical care. This coming March 2025, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Honduras on a mission trip to provide much-needed physical therapy services to an underserved community.
In Honduras, many individuals lack access to basic healthcare, including physical therapy, which is crucial for those recovering from injury or managing chronic conditions. During this trip, I’ll work alongside a team of medical professionals to offer physical therapy assessments, treatment plans, and education to help improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance the quality of life for local residents.
As a student, I am funding the trip myself, but I need your help to cover the costs of travel, medical supplies, and other expenses. Your support will directly impact the lives of individuals who otherwise might not have access to physical therapy, and it will help me grow as a healthcare provider who can make a difference.
Any contribution, big or small, would mean the world to me and the community I’ll be serving. Thank you so much for considering supporting this life-changing mission!
With gratitude,
Thailey Leak, SPT
