Help Tex in His Final Fight with Stage 4 Cancer & Support His Family
After nearly two years of being told he was “fine,” Tex has just been diagnosed with Stage 4 adenocarcinoma — a terminal cancer with no cure.
Almost two years ago, Tex began feeling unwell — constant pain, trouble breathing, and symptoms that kept getting worse. He went to the hospital over and over, looking for answers, but was repeatedly sent home without proper testing or treatment.
Last Thursday, my mother finally took Tex to a different hospital and the doctors finally discovered the truth: Tex has cancer. Over the next few days of constant tests, we learned it’s Stage 4 adenocarcinoma — and at this stage, there is no beating it. If it had been caught when his symptoms first appeared, there may have been hope for treatment. Instead, it has progressed beyond the point of cure.
Right now, our only focus is keeping Tex comfortable and giving him the love and care he deserves in the time he has left. He is in constant pain, unable to eat or drink much, and requires round-the-clock care. My mom has stopped working to be by his side, leaving them without a steady income. The medical bills, in-home care costs, and everyday living expenses are overwhelming.
We’re asking for help to ease the financial strain and stress on my mother so she can focus on what matters most — Tex’s comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Donations will go toward:
• Medical bills & hospital expenses
• In-home care & medical supplies
• Everyday bills & utilities while my mom is unable to work
• Travel costs for necessary appointments and care
If you can’t donate, a simple share of this fundraiser can help us reach someone who can. Every donation, every share, and every prayer means more than we can ever express.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with Tex and our family during this most difficult chapter.
