My name is Bridgette, and I am writing to introduce my brother, Texroy — a devoted son, father, uncle, and truly one of the best brothers anyone could ever ask for.

Texroy is 64 years old and proudly served our country after enlisting in the United States Air Force, where he remained for 13 years. After his service, he became a single father, always putting family first and never asking for more than he needed.

Today, Texroy is facing the fight of his life. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma that has spread into his bone marrow. The illness has taken a heavy toll on his body. His spleen is severely enlarged, causing his stomach to become swollen and distended. His legs and feet are bloated making it difficult to walk, he tires easily, and he feels weak most days. He struggles to eat because his appetite is very limited, and the inability to taste most foods has made it even more difficult. We have been informed that the loss of his appetite and taste are side effects of chemotherapy and are expected to return over time.

He is currently receiving chemotherapy and blood transfusions at a cancer hospital in Chesterfield, Virginia. The treatments are painful, slow, and exhausting, but my brother continues to fight with quiet strength and hope. Because of his condition, Texroy is no longer able to work. I am asking for your support to help cover his growing medical expenses as well as his monthly living bills while he focuses on healing. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease this burden and allow him to continue treatment without the constant worry of financial strain.

We remain hopeful that as his treatments continue, Texroy will begin to regain strength and one day be able to care for himself again. Until then, your kindness, prayers, and generosity mean more than words can express.
