Help Tess & Sara Honor Their Dad’s Life & Legacy

Hi everyone,

I’m writing this with a heavy heart on behalf of my best friend Tess and her little sister Sara. On April 29th, their world changed forever when their beloved dad passed away suddenly. It was unexpected, heartbreaking, and far too soon.

If you ever had the pleasure of knowing their dad—even for a moment—you know he was truly one of a kind. The kind of man who made everyone feel welcome, who showed up for people without being asked, and who lived with his whole heart. Whether he was building shelters for neighborhood cats, waving to school kids with coffee in hand and his dog Mocha by his side, or cooking up deer nuggets at a backyard BBQ, he made life better for everyone around him.

He was simple. Kind. Full of laughter. The kind of guy who’d give you the shirt off his back—and probably a cold Busch too.

Tess and Sara are now navigating the unimaginable: planning a funeral, trying to keep up with daily living expenses, and just putting one foot in front of the other while grieving the loss of their rock. They’ve shown so much strength, but they shouldn’t have to carry this alone.

This fundraiser is to help ease the financial burden during this devastating time. All funds will go directly to:

Covering funeral and memorial costs

Keeping groceries and essentials on the table

Giving Tess and Sara a bit of breathing room to grieve and rebuild
