Dear friends, 

It is with a heavy heart and profound sense of loss that we inform you of the passing of our dear friend Tesfaye Biftu.

Biftu was the living expression of the kindest and most  positive person God has created. Tesfaye Biftu was born in Wollega region of Ethiopia. He stayed in Sudan for a few years and immigrated to the US. Biftu made Oakland, California his home and created a new family that he nurtured with love, a helping hand and patience. He made this world a beautiful place.
