My name is Cyndy, I am Terry's ex-wife and long time friend. Terry has been struggling the last few yeasr with COPD and heart issues, pushing himself to get to work as a semi truck driver to support himself. His health has not been good and he has barely been making ends meet, sometimes not and has had to ask friends and family for help just to get through the month. A few weeks ago , Terry fell several times within a few days , hitting his head multiple times. We believe this was due to misunderstanding of taking medication and being over medicated. Terry sustained a traumatic brain injury with swelling and bleeding. He had to have emergency head surgery to cut open his skull and put drains in for the excess bleeding. He's had trouble with low blood pressure and low sodium levels since being in the hospital. Having cognitive, vision and neurological issues, Terry was discharged to a nursing facility after just one week in the hospital. Within twenty four hours he ended up at a different hospital because of symptoms that appeared to be a stroke. After testing they are of the belief that it is still issues with his low sodium level. We are asking family and friends to "Please" help in whatever way you can to help him and his family through the time it is going to take to get him on his social security and other benefits so that he can hopefully stay in his home once he is discharged or to figure out other options for him where he can thrive. Thank you so very much.
