Support Terry's Recovery After Ischemic Stroke

Hello, my name is Tonya and I am reaching out for help. My husband Terry had a Ischemic Stroke on March 26th 2025. This was a scary moment because he didn’t realize what was going on but I knew from a previous situation with my previous fiancé in 2009 and he didn’t recover from it. That situation happened 3 months before walking down the Aisle. When this happen to Terry it was so weird because he snapped out of what was going on within 10 minutes. I decided to take him to the hospital any way and numerous of test were done that included MRI’s, CAT Scans etc. Terry was very lucky that it wasn’t to the point of having surgery or death. However this has left him not able to pursue the career that he has loved for over 5 years and that was being a Truck Driver over the road. Terry has to have Physical Therapy, Occupational therapy and Speech Therapy. He has right side weakness, slurred speech and short term memory. He gets very emotional and I am his backbone to get him through as well as his mom and siblings. Terry was the home provider and now that he can’t work I just don’t know how to make it. I’ve turned it over to God for guidance and now it has lead me to reach out to others. Right now so much is due such as rent x 2 months plus other household bills, including medical bills. Anyone who knows Terry knows that he’s the most kind and considerate person and would give his last. I am reaching out to everyone myself because he’s not that person to ask for help.
