Hi family and friends,
As many of you know, our world shifted last week when Terry was airlifted to Sacred Heart in Spokane with serious abdominal pain. Doctors have identified an inoperable tumor that has unfortunately spread.
He had ileostomy surgery on Sunday and is recovering remarkably well. The next step is getting him connected with the team at Fred Hutchinson in Seattle to figure out a treatment plan. He'll likely be staying with family and friends near the hospital while that happens.
Terry is in very good spirits. He's surrounded by Pam, Galen, Mollie, Grant, Adri, and Roberto, as well as many dear friends, and he's said many times how much your love and prayers mean to him. It really does make a difference!
We're setting this up to help with a couple things: travel across the state for treatment- there will be a lot of back and forth in the months ahead. The second is income, as both Pam and Terry won't be earning while Terry is healing and in treatment. There's no way to know yet how long that will be.
We don't have a specific number in mind. Whatever you're able to give helps, and if giving isn't possible right now, your kind words and prayers absolutely count too. Pam has been keeping everyone updated on CaringBridge, and that will continue to be the best place to follow how Terry is doing.
Thank you so much. This community has shown up in a way that has honestly taken our breath away.
With love,
Terry's family
