Hi, my name is Terry.

I moved to Atlanta chasing new opportunities, but life took an unexpected turn — I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Without insurance, I’m fighting not just for my health, but for a chance to recover without drowning in medical debt. Anything you can give will help me get the surgery and care I need to beat this.

Doctors found a mass on my sigmoid colon, and surgery is urgently needed to remove it. As serious as the diagnosis is, I’m also facing this battle without health insurance. I don’t currently qualify for coverage through my job, and I’ve been out of work for an extended period. That means every doctor visit, test, and procedure comes with overwhelming costs that I simply can’t afford on my own.

I’m doing everything I can to apply for assistance programs, but time is critical and the bills are piling up. Every day that passes without treatment increases the risks, and the symptoms can be overwhelming. I want to give myself the best possible chance to fight and beat this disease so I can focus on recovery — not medical debt.
