Hi, my name is Sherri King. I am starting this fundraiser for my brother, Terry Tidwell. He is 56 years old and on May 27, 2024, he went to the ER due to a 50lb weightloss and severely ill. They diagnosed him with colon cancer that had already spread to his liver, both lungs, and lymph nodes. He is terminal and they can do nothing for him. He is a truck driver and reported his illness and was told he would immediately qualify for FMLA and disability that day. He was ignored by all oncologists except one doctor. He has been sent home for hospice and upon getting home his job called and said he was less then a month away from working for them for 12 months, so they needed a letter stating he had a clean bill of health and was to return to work immediately. He is terminal. They fired him. And are stopping his health insurance and his life insurance is void. I am asking for anyone's help. Financially, legally. How can FMLA and the disabilities act turn its back on him. His wife is his caregiver. He lives in Fort Worth, Texas. Please help me help him. He has been a hard working man all his life. He has the best sense of humor and is the first to help anyone. He treats everyone the same. Money donated will help pay house payment, medical bills, food. Utilities, medicine, etc.
