At the beginning of the year, my mom, Terry Lakey Clopper, had a MRSA infection in her blood that spread throughout her body, turning into sepsis. She was in the hospital for multiple months, not being able to walk as the infection had spread to her spine among other places. She has been out of work since the New Year. She is currently on the mend and feeling a bit better, getting some normalcy back in her life, and we are so lucky she is healing.
