It's with great sadness I must share that North Reading resident Terry Huang passed away on Tuesday August 5th after a long and brave battle against cancer. Terry was loved by all who met her and she was an active member of our community: only two months before her passing Terry was enthusiastic to participate in the annual Town Hall and contribute her vote. Despite her health she insisted on staying late to partake in the the entire meeting.

Terry is survived by her husband, Ivan, her three children Bella (7), Lia (6), and Max (4), and her parents who are currently visiting from Taiwan and grieving the loss of their only child. Bella and Lia are current students at Hood Elementary with Max set to begin there in a year.

When Terry first fell ill six years ago she and Ivan decided that Ivan would become a stay-at-home father for the children while Terry continued to run her dental practice. With Terry's passing and her need to end work months prior, I am asking the North Reading community's support in helping offset some of the costs that come with these events. Your generosity would truly help to alleviate some of the stress of planning for the future while the family grieves the loss of their wife, mother, and daughter.

Terry's funeral will be held at Trinity Evangelical Church on Wednesday 13th 10:00 AM and all are welcome to attend. An official obituary and details will be shared soon.
