Support Terry Black’s Fight Against AML Leukemia

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart but also with hope. My dear friend Terry has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on 03/11/2025, and he and his beautiful family need our help. This courageous man has always been a source of light and positivity in lives of so many, and now it’s our turn to shine that light back on his as he battles AML Leukemia.

Terry is a vibrant 35 year old husband, father, uncle, brother and son. Terry and his wife Crisann have 5 beautiful children together. He works so very hard to provide for his precious family. Many times you would see him working up to 7 days a week before his cancer diagnosis took place. Terry loves working on cars, spending time with his family in Madera Canyon, going on hikes, and giving his time back to the community where he lives. He spends endless hours planning Club Zeus Events with his amazing, kind, loving, generous wife Crisann. He absolutely loves seeing everyone from our Community at The Club Zeus Events, having a good time and watching them enjoy themselves.

Terry was working at Sun Mechanical as a pipe fitter, and he was just about to start his benefits package the week he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He’s a jack of all trades and he would give the shirt off his back for anyone.

Terry has always put others before himself. Whether it is volunteering his time, organizing community events, or simply being a shoulder to lean on for his friends, he has continuously demonstrated his boundless generosity and kindness. Terry's spirit is infectious, and has brightened the darkest of days for so many. He and has his wife started their own non-profit to help Celebrate and Give Back to Our Beautiful Individuals with Special Needs in the Community where they reside, and it breaks my heart to see them facing such a daunting challenge.

Terry began experiencing unusual symptoms of fatigue, leg pains and body pains. His wife Crisann took him to the hospital on 03/07/2025 where he was admitted and they ran tests. They diagnosed Terry with cancer on that very day. Terry had a port placed right away for treatment. He had a procedure called Leukapheresis as his initial treatment and then he was diagnosed with the life-altering news that he has AML, on 03/11/2025 a type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. This diagnosis has disrupted his life and the lives of those who care about him.

Terry is currently undergoing aggressive treatment, including chemotherapy and possibly a bone marrow transplant. He is currently admitted into Banner University Medical Center. Terry started treatment immediately. He will be in the hospital for the next few weeks receiving his treatment. While he is brave and determined, the road ahead will be long and arduous. The treatments are not only physically taxing but also come with significant financial burdens. Medical bills, medication costs, and potential loss of income during his recovery are just a few of the challenges he and his family will face.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to support Terry’s fight against AML. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help cover his medical expenses, treatments, and living costs during this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and will go directly to Terry to alleviate his financial burden.

If you know Terry, you understand the impact he has had on our lives. If you don’t know him, please consider supporting a brave man who is fighting for his life. Together, we can help him focus on his recovery without the stress of financial strain.

Let’s rally around Terry and show him the love and support he has given to so many around him.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Together, we can make a difference in Terry’s fight against leukemia.

With gratitude,
