Our dad, Terry A. Sober, was recently diagnosed with aggressive Stage 3 prostate cancer.
Anyone who knows Dad knows he’s the first to show up for everyone else. For 27 years he’s worked at RSDC, often putting in long stretches without a day off because he loves to stay busy and help people. Even on his “days off,” you’ll find him mowing a neighbor’s lawn, fixing a family member’s car, or lending a hand wherever it’s needed. He’s a dad to five, grandpa to six, and great-grandpa to one — and he’s there for every single one of them.
Now he’s the one who needs support.
Terry’s treatment plan includes radiation 5 days a week, plus additional appointments and procedures before radiation even begins. The co-pays and medical bills are already piling up, and time off work means lost wages. Being told you have cancer is frightening enough. Having to stress about finances on top of it just isn’t fair.
We’re asking for help to ease that burden. Donations will go directly toward:
- Insurance deductibles and co-pays
- Travel costs for daily radiation and appointments
- Lost wages during treatment and recovery
- Uncovered medical expenses
If you know Terry, you know he’d give you the shirt off his back. If you’re able to donate or share this, it means the world to our family. Thank you for helping us help him.
