Support Terri's Journey to Mobility

Hi everyone, I’m doing this on behalf of my mom, Terri Barnes. As many of you know, she suffered a massive stroke in November. She is a fighter, and she continues to fight each day. Mom has already spent weeks in the hospital, months in Tawes rehab, and she is now home doing her therapy. She is now working on sitting in her wheelchair for extended periods of time, in hopes that she can soon get out of the house and attend her physician, therapy, and other appointments in person. She would also enjoy the occasional trip to Boscovs or Roses.

To make that happen, she will need an accessible vehicle. These vehicles range from 40-80+ thousand dollars. While Mandi, Dad, and I have been working together to cover things her insurance will not, this is one that we cannot do on our own.

I know how much mom is loved, and I know many of you would love to see her around the island.
