On October 26, 2025, our beloved friend, Terri Nash, suffered a devastating stroke that has completely altered the course of her life.
At 69, she is suddenly unable to work and is facing a long, uncertain road of recovery. As someone who has devoted her life to the service of others, she has minimal savings and now, without the ability to work, doesn’t have means to keep herself afloat. We need to help cover supportive caregiving costs, food, living expenses, and sudden massive medical bills. Thankfully, she has good friends who want to give back to her in the way she has always given to us.
For more than 40 years, Terri has been devoted to healing, compassion, and spiritual service.
~In the 1980s, she was instrumental in assisting with construction of the New England Peace Pagoda (https://newenglandpeacepagoda.org).
~ As a community birth midwife in Kauai, she supported hundreds of families through transitions from birthing into parenting.
~ As a death doula, she has counseled many through tragic losses.
~ As a Qi Gong teacher, she has helped many to reconnect with breath, body, and energy.
~ As an intuitive guide, teacher, and homeopath, she has counseled thousands of clients around the world, offering supportive insight into the karmic, energetic, and soul-level patterns shaping their lives.
Terri has dedicated 50 years to the study and practice of esoteric sciences and Tibetan Medicine, studying first with His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s former personal physician, Dr. Yeshe Donden, and continuing her training with traditional Tibetan physician, Dr. Jampa Yonten.
Over the past few years, she has been pursuing advanced studies in Tibetan philosophy with Geshe Damdul Dorjee. In remote regions of Tibet, Terri trained local women in midwifery skills. As a trained homeopath, she also brought greatly needed health care and supplies to villagers.
Most recently, she has been Film Coordinator for an upcoming documentary about Tibetan Medicine: Compassion as Remedy (https://www.compassionasremedy.com).
THE SUPPORT:
We humbly ask for your support for this devoted teacher, healer, and extraordinary human being. Terri has spent her life caring for others; now, in this time of profound vulnerability, she is the one needing care. It remains unclear whether Terri will be able to drive again or live fully independently. With her remarkable strength of will and a dedicated circle of support, she is making meaningful strides toward healing.
Your donation—large or small—will go directly toward essential living expenses, food, medications, medical co-pays and equipment, transportation to therapy and medical appointments, home health support, caregiver, and vital rehabilitation therapies.
Ongoing monthly contributions are especially helpful.
If you are unable to give, sharing this page is a powerful way to help—each share is a prayer in motion.
Thank you for helping Terri recover with dignity, stability, and the loving support of the community she has served for a lifetime.
