In Loving Memory of Mario Hernandez

We are heartbroken to share that our beloved cousin Mario has passed away,

leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. He was the oldest of 21

first cousins and has touched all our lives in countless ways.

Mario and his wife Terri shared a beautiful marriage for over 40 years, standing

together through both joys and storms. As a dedicated union carpenter, Mario

started his construction company, while Terri worked until illness forced her to

stop.

Throughout the years, Mario faced numerous health challenges, beginning with a

severe blood infection from a brown recluse spider bite in 2009. His battle

continued with a stage three cancer diagnosis in 2017, followed by COPD,

diabetes, and other serious conditions. His cancer returned and despite all his

struggles, Mario fought with unmatched courage until he was called to heaven on

May 28, 2025 to be with his mother, father and our other beloved family

members.

Mario and Terri faced unimaginable hardships, losing their home and filing for

bankruptcy, relying on credit cards to manage their medical expenses. As Terri

navigates this painful chapter without her husband and provider, we hope to ease

her financial burden by raising funds to cover Mario’s medical expenses and

support her during this difficult time.

Every contribution, no matter the size will help bring Terri some peace and honor
