Support Terre Haute, Indiana Church After Fire
Donation protected
Terre Haute 7th Day Assembly kitchen caught fire early morning March 21st. The building has been condemned and has to be demolished. It is a small church with very little revenue. They only have liability, so insurance will not be paying for anything. This is the church my mother grew up in. Her father (my grandfather) was the pastor. My family and other parishioners built it themselves in the '60s.
All the utilities to the church and kitchen were connected, so they have no electric or water running to the church. Because of regulations, they are not allowed to do any of the work themselves. They will have to hire someone to tear everything down and clear the lot. They have to hire inspectors, plumbers, and electricians. The estimated cost is upwards of $20,000. They will not be rebuilding the kitchen. This is just the cost to remove all damage and get the utilities working in the sanctuary.
Please help by donating any amount you can afford. Let's come together and help get this done. All prayers are appreciated!
