Mission Statement

Founded by Terra Newell-whose courageous act of self-defense against her abusive stepfather, John Meehan, became widely known through the Dirty John podcast and television series-our mission is to provide a safe, healing, and empowering sanctuary for survivors of domestic violence and their children in Southern California. Drawing from Terra's personal journey of trauma and recovery, we aim to create a supportive community where survivors can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.

Our vision includes developing a self-sustaining haven featuring 6 to 18 private tiny homes, offering families the privacy and security essential for healing. The community will provide holistic support services, including weekly therapy sessions, access to necessities and supplies, nutritious food, and programs to assist in transitioning back into society. By fostering an environment of compassion and resilience, we strive to empower survivors to reclaim their independence and create new beginnings. This is to raise money to apply for our 501c3
