Many people know Terrance (Terry) Brown as an alumnus of Thomas Jefferson High School, husband of 41 years to June, father to Candace and Terrance, Big Daddy to three grandsons, brother-in-love, loyal and giving friend, etc.

Numerous others also know him as a sought-after subject matter expert, owner of Choice Concepts and field engineer who travels across the state providing digital signage and communication services. Even with the schedule he maintained regularly, this man of God is a 26-year member of the Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC) who is not only known for his faithful service in CCC’s Helps/Usher Ministry; but, also for the cheerful giving his time monthly providing correctional care to those incarcerated at the Wayside and Los Padrinos Detention Centers.

On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, Terry was seriously injured in an automobile accident while on his way to a job site in Palm Springs, California. Although Terry is making great progress and his heart remains committed to providing for his family and serving God, the extent of his injuries will require a healing process that prevents him from returning to work and serving for a yet to be determined time frame.

Regretfully, given this recovery period, Terry’s income has completely halted until his return to work. This is compounded by the layoff of his wife, June, which left him as the sole source of their natural income since the onset of the COVID pandemic. Since the accident, June has been overwhelmed by calls and texts of support from caring people, many of whom have asked how they may support. So, in response, family and friends of the Browns are (1) requesting continued agreement in faith for Terry’s complete and rapid recovery; and (2) we have created this account and are trusting God to minister to the giving hearts of all who are led to contribute towards the accruing medical bills and household expenses.
