Support Teri’s Recovery After Brain Surgery

Donation protected
On Sunday, September 7, I was out working as a DoorDash driver when I suddenly had a seizure that sent me to the emergency room. The doctors discovered I had a brain tumor, and just a few days later, on Friday, September 12, I underwent surgery to have it removed. The experience was overwhelming and completely unexpected, and now I’m facing a long road to recovery.

Because of the surgery and the recovery process, I’m unable to work right now. This has made it extremely difficult to keep up with my rent, utilities, and other household expenses. I’m also dealing with mounting medical bills and the basic costs of daily living. The stress of not knowing how I’ll cover these essentials while trying to heal has been incredibly tough. I often feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, and weak, but I’m doing my best to take things one day at a time.

Thankfully, my mom and sister have been by my side, offering their support and encouragement. My main focus over the next few months is to rest, recover, and eventually get back to work. Any help during this time would mean so much and would allow me to focus on healing without the constant worry about bills and expenses. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer.
