Standing in Faith to Protect the Lives God

Entrusted to Me

Writing this takes humility, faith, and courage.

My dogs are not just animals — they are lives God entrusted to my care. They are my family, my responsibility, and daily reminders of unconditional love. For years, they have only known safety, consistency, and compassion in my home, and I have always done my best to honor that responsibility.

Recently, I was notified that I must bring my property into compliance by constructing a proper kennel that meets county requirements. I fully understand the importance of order and compliance, and I want to be very clear: I am not avoiding responsibility. I am committed to doing what is right - legally, ethically, and humanely.

This past year has brought unexpected trials. Along with a sudden emergency and a reduction in work hours, I also experienced the heartbreaking loss of our family horse.

Making the loving decision to let her go came with both emotional and financial strain, but it was done prayerfully and with compassion. That same heart is guiding me now.

Because of these circumstances, I am currently unable to complete the required upgrades on my own.

Without these improvements, l face fines, penalties, and worse. During my interaction with Code Enforcement, I was informed that due to full capacity at local shelters - including rescues, nonprofit organizations, no-kill shelters, the Humane Society, and the SPCA - there is no available placement for my dogs. I was told that under these conditions, my dogs would be EUTHANIZED!

I believe with all my heart that their lives matter.

My dogs are well cared for, monitored daily, and pose no nuisance or danger. They are loved, protected, and deeply bonded to me and to each other. I am simply asking for the opportunity to complete a compliant, permanent kennel so they can remain where God placed them at home.

Funds raised through this GoFundMe will be used solely for:

• Materials and labor to build a county-compliant kennel

• Required upgrades to meet safety, sanitation, and space standards

• Permits, inspections, and compliance-related costs

Asking for help does not come easily. But I believe God often works through people - through compassion, shared responsibility, and community.
