As many of you know- my mom spends a lot of time taking care of others. You don’t have to be family to be FAMILY to her. If you need her, she has your back. Recently mom decided to FINALLY take care of her self and address some health concerns she has been having. In addition to having a completely obstructed gall bladder,

it was discovered that she has uterine (and possible bladder) cancer. Mom is a tough cookie and has been working and doing what she can for everyone else since this tough news was brought to light. On 7/8/25 we had our official consult with gynecology oncology. The hope is after a hysterectomy on 7/21/25 we will have tackled the 1st and scariest of her diagnoses. Mom will require several surgeries over the next couple of months and the doctor was very clear about strict compliance to restrictions following these procedures. The hope is that surgical intervention is the only necessary treatment, but we can’t know for sure until we receive the formal pathology report after surgery number 1. Mom will need to take a significant amount of time off of work and will incur quite a bit of medical bills during this time. Whether you call her Ma, mom, gramma, GMA, or Mama T - she sure could use your love, well wishes, and support in anyway you are able.

In addition to this fund raiser her youngest grand/great grands are making uterine cancer awareness bracelets and will be selling them for $5 each :)
