Two weeks ago, our beautiful niece Terina was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

Anyone who knows Terina knows just how special she is. She brings light wherever she goes! Funny, loving, caring, outgoing, and incredibly hardworking. To know her is truly to love her.

Terina has worked incredibly hard for everything she has achieved. She is currently in her second year of university in Tasmania studying to become a psychologist, something she is deeply passionate about. Alongside university, she works at Hursey Seafoods, where she is loved and supported by both her coworkers and management for her dedication and kind nature.

Terina is deeply loved by her family, friends, partner, teachers, and colleagues. The amount of support surrounding her is a reflection of the love and care she has always given to others.

In what feels like the blink of an eye, life has completely changed. Instead of focusing on university, work, and the future she was building for herself, Terina is now preparing for an intensive 6–9 month treatment journey in Melbourne, including chemotherapy, surgery, and ongoing care, with regular travel from Tasmania for both her and our family.

Between hospital stays, travel, accommodation, time away from work, and everyday expenses, the emotional and financial pressure on the family is immense.

Despite everything she is facing, Terina continues to show incredible strength, courage, and resilience every single day.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial pressure so the family can focus fully on supporting Terina through treatment, recovery, and healing. All funds raised will go directly toward supporting Terina and contributing to the costs associated with her treatment journey and care.
