Hi, my name is Dana, and I’m fundraising for my sister Teresa.

Teresa is 37 years old and a devoted mother of three wonderful children. Her oldest is 15, her daughter is 2 years old, and her youngest son just turned 1.

Teresa has faced a long and challenging journey. After her first son, she struggled with fertility and needed IVF to conceive her daughter. Her second pregnancy was extremely difficult, and she also battled Bell’s palsy during that time, which initially went away but returned, and she fought it off once more. Her third pregnancy, while still challenging, was not as difficult as the previous ones.

Amid these struggles, Teresa was blessed with another child. However, she was recently diagnosed with rectal cancer, which has spread to her intestines and is at stage 3.

Currently, Teresa is not working and needs support to cover her essential living expenses, including bills, food for herself and her children, formula, vitamins, and medical costs. The funds raised will go towards covering her basic needs so that she can focus on her health and support her children.

Teresa will undergo aggressive chemotherapy for about three months, and after that, she will have surgery. Depending on how things progress, she may need another round of chemotherapy.
