Hi everyone, I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but right now I truly need it. At the beginning of April, I experienced a TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack), often called a mini stroke. Since then, my life has been turned upside down. I’ve been unable to work and have lost income, with more uncertainty ahead. I’m still dealing with ongoing symptoms that make everyday life difficult, including blurred vision, weakness throughout my body, tingling in my face, frequent headaches, trouble sleeping, and confusion. Some days are better than others, but many are overwhelming and honestly pretty scary. I’ve been mostly stuck in bed since early April trying to recover. I’ve had blood work, a CT scan, and two MRIs, which thankfully didn’t show anything severe, but I’m still waiting to see a neurologist—and the wait time is currently 6 to 8 months. With no income right now, bills and basic expenses are becoming harder to manage. I’m asking for help to cover essentials like rent, utilities, food, and medical-related costs while I focus on healing.
